I have suggested why most Christians should feel utterly ashamed when they read, for example the Gospel of Matthew, the plain meaning of which is socialism, or some close equivalent in an radically egalitarian social revolution. Rather unlike Christians today who have a strange obsession with sex and close to little regard for poverty and the poor, Jesus had precious little to say about sex, and a good lot to say about poverty , about love, about justice.
