But didn't Christ come in to the world to take suffering away, so that we should be happy - not to bring new sufferings[?] Doesn't taking it this way make his whole

coming into the world futile? On the contrary. He came into the world to transform humanity in such a way that all these human sufferings (poverty, penury, sickness, loss of honor, etc.) become as something childish, something to be reckoned as nothing .
