Theological Journal – September 2 Craig Keen: Theological Discourse

Theological discourse worth having or talking about is well described by Craig Keen:

“I am convinced that the locus of theological discourse must be the social/political/economic body—that is, the body entangled in the bodies of others, moving apocalyptically (i.e., non-teleologically) from and to the coming New Jerusalem, and working, eating, building, dwelling, giving, and receiving, non-monetarily—all as a complex liturgical dance. Without thinking these things, I don't believe the person/work of Jesus will be understood.”

Spend some time with this statement. Ponder and pray over it. Immerse yourself in it. There’s a world of wisdom here!
